Position Summary:
We are seeking enthusiastic, results-driven Admissions Advisors to join our dynamic, in-person team in Mississauga. This role is ideal for individuals who are passionate about education, enjoy working with people, and thrive in a fast-paced, goal-oriented environment.
As an Admissions Advisor, you will be the first point of contact for prospective students, meeting with them face-to-face to provide personalized guidance on academic programs, career pathways, and funding options. Your role doesn't stop at enrollment — you'll also be responsible for tracking student files, monitoring their admissions status, and ensuring ongoing communication with both students and the college to support a smooth transition into their programs.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct in-person consultations with walk-in and referred prospective students to understand their goals and provide tailored guidance
- Manage a high volume of inbound and outbound calls, ensuring timely, professional, and supportive communication
- Make proactive outreach calls to follow up with leads, re-engage prospects, and schedule appointments
- Clearly explain available funding options and career-focused academic programs in an accessible and engaging manner
- Utilize CRM tools to manage leads, update statuses, log communications, and track follow-ups accurately and efficiently
- Consistently achieve monthly enrollment targets while delivering a positive and informative student experience
- Work collaboratively with internal teams and partner institutions to support a seamless admissions and enrollment process
- Track student progress post-enrollment, maintain detailed records, and ensure open, ongoing communication with both students and the college
Requirements:
- Minimum 1 year of experience in sales, admissions, advising, or a high-volume call center environment
- Comfortable with handling a high volume of calls, including cold calling and follow-ups
- Proficient in using CRM platforms such as GoHighLevel, Salesforce, HubSpot, or similar tools
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport quickly and maintain a professional tone
- Fluency in English is required; additional languages such as Punjabi, Hindi, or Urdu are considered an asset
- Must be available to work on-site at our Mississauga location — this is not a remote position
