Présentation Du Poste JOB DESCRIPTION Reporting to the Shift Lead, the AME-M is a licensed Aircraft Maintenance Engineer responsible for performing line and heavy maintenance on multiple aircraft types, ensuring all work is completed safely, efficiently, and in compliance with Transport Canada regulations. Responsibilities <ul><li>Perform inspections, troubleshooting, maintenance, and repairs on aircraft systems including hydraulics, engines, flight controls, landing gear, pneumatics, fuel, and electrical systems.</li><li>Conduct preflight, postflight, and daily inspections, perform system and engine functional checks, and clear logbook discrepancies.</li><li>Read and interpret maintenance manuals, service bulletins, and technical documents to determine repair methods and ensure airworthiness compliance.</li><li>Inspect and assess aircraft components and structures per maintenance programs, airworthiness directives, and service bulletins.</li><li>Replace or repair defective parts, perform cable tension adjustments, and complete operational tests on systems and engines.</li><li>Ensure all maintenance documentation is completed accurately and submitted for certification as required.</li><li>Apply safe work practices at all times and maintain a clean, organized work environment.</li><li>Mentor and support apprentices by sharing technical knowledge and promoting professional standards.</li><li>Comply with company tool control, quality assurance, and health and safety procedures. </li></ul>Profil Recherché Skills and qualifications <ul><li>Valid Transport Canada AME-M license.</li><li>0–2+ years of experience in aircraft line or heavy maintenance.</li><li>Ground Operating (AVOP) and Radio Operator licenses.</li><li>Strong technical knowledge of aircraft systems and maintenance procedures.</li><li>Excellent attention to detail, organization, and communication skills.</li><li>Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.</li><li>Willingness to obtain aircraft type endorsements and additional company training.</li><li>Physically fit and flexible to work various shifts. </li></ul>Advantages and benefits <ul><li>Permanent employment offering stability and security.</li><li>Access to AAA Academy for ongoing professional development.</li><li>Use of high performance and quality equipment.</li><li>Sick days to ensure your well-being.</li><li>Comprehensive group insurance program.</li><li>Opportunities for career development and professional growth.</li><li>Stimulating work environment with major projects in the aerospace, ground transportation and defense sectors.</li><li>Health and wellness program.</li></ul>
