Autopay Accounting Specialist, Creditor (6-month contract)
Temporary Full Time Group Creditor Insurance provides financial services and premium administration for creditor insurance products. Are you detail-driven? The Autopay Accounting Specialist role is suited to an analytical, technically minded individual who values precision and enjoys contributing to operational excellence. In this role, you'll contribute to the accurate collection, reconciliation, and reporting of premiums for Autopay groups. You must become proficient with internal accounting systems and Autopay processes.What you will do:Prepare financial statements for policyholders and internal departmentsReconcile suspense accounts and premiums for all Autopay groupsEnsure data integrity and accuracy of Autopay financial informationReport irregularities in account balances to Banking OperationsMaintain daily entries of rejected premiums and allocate EFT amountsGenerate and manage daily Autopay reportsWhat you will bring:Strong analytical skills and attention to detailPositive, proactive attitude with a commitment to accuracyExcellent communication skills - both written and verbalAbility to manage multiple tasks and meet tight deadlinesStrong interpersonal skills and ability to work independently or in a teamAdvanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (formulas, pivot tables, v-lookups, etc.)Solid understanding of accounting principles and financial systemsExperience in premium reconciliation or financial reporting is an assetBilingual French/English is an assetThe base salary for this position is between $44,700.00 - $67,000.00 annually. This represents base salary only and does not represent other variable compensation components of our total compensation ( i.e. annual bonus, commission etc).
