As a Project Manager, you'll provide expertise in scoping, planning, RAID management, progress monitoring, and governance-ensuring the successful delivery of strategic initiatives. <br> <br> You'll work with a wide range of stakeholders across both our International and Australian offices, collaborating with business and functional teams at all levels. <br> <br> <br> <br><strong> Key Responsibilities</strong> <br> </p><ul><li>Project Leadership: Manage projects from scoping through to delivery, ensuring alignment with business objectives and successful outcomes. <br> </li><li>Scoping & Planning: Lead the creation of business cases, define project outcomes, and develop structured activity and resource plans. <br> </li><li>Financial Management: Create and manage project budgets, ensuring effective use of resources. <br> </li><li>RAID Management: Identify and manage Risks, Assumptions, Issues, and Dependencies throughout the project lifecycle. <br> </li><li>Execution & Monitoring: Build and lead high-performing project teams, monitor progress, and communicate key updates to stakeholders. <br> </li><li>Governance: Establish fit-for-purpose governance structures, facilitate decision-making, and ensure compliance with project management frameworks. <br> </li><li>Change Management: Support organisational change initiatives, working independently and with specialist resources. <br> </li><li>Project Assurance: Ensure adherence to AustralianSuper's Project Management Delivery Framework and promote integration with global delivery capabilities. <br> <br> <br> <br> <strong>What You'll Bring</strong> <br> <br> We're looking for an experienced Project Manager who thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment and is passionate about delivering excellent outcomes. <br> </li><li>Experience: Project Manager, with responsibility for medium to large projects (£1m+ budgets), ideally within asset management. <br> </li><li>Sector Knowledge: Experience in technology vendor implementation (SAAS), portfolio management/trading/investment capability builds, regulatory change (e.g., FCA), and operating model transformation. <br> </li><li>Project Management Skills: Proven ability to apply and tailor project management methodologies, tools, and techniques. <br> </li><li>Leadership & Communication: Strong facilitation, chairing, and stakeholder engagement skills. Able to communicate complex concepts clearly at all levels. <br> </li><li>Analytical Mindset: Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and root cause identification skills. <br> </li><li>Team Player: Collaborative, decisive, proactive, and passionate about continuous improvement. <br> </li><li>Qualifications: Project Management qualification from a professional body (APMG essential).
