Guest Service
- Wear a clean and complete uniform in accordance with WEG standards
- Provide prompt, friendly, and courteous service to internal customers and vendors
- Address product/service needs and concerns in a timely manner
- Provide timely and accurate documentation for all transactions
- Maintain clean and organized work areas with clear, safe access for the delivery of all products
- Demonstrate WEG's Core Values in all interactions
Receiving
- Accept or reject deliveries based on established policies and procedures
- Delivering products from dock to requesting departments
- Complete receiving documentation accurately and on time
- Transmit invoices and credit notes to Accounts Payable and vendors
- Perform food safety inspections (logging notes and temperature checks)
- Ensure FIFO (First In, First Out) method is consistently followed
- Store and rotate products to WEG standards
- Follow all stock control, food safety, and security protocols
- All other receiving duties as assigned
Product Delivery
- Manage flow of product from the Warehouses to all pump rooms & other assigned locations with accuracy and efficiency
- Build product orders in the warehouse from system generated transfers for outlets, storage areas, pump rooms following safe handling procedures
- Monitor and check all products for quality and freshness before delivery
- Transport goods to stockrooms and pump rooms safely and efficiently
- Maintain stock levels and cleanliness of all storage areas and pump rooms
- Assist with event and function setups and breakdowns
- All other product delivery duties as assigned
Inventory & Administration
- Contribute to overall profitability through timely and accurate record keeping and product distribution
- Maintain min/max par levels in assigned storage areas
- Input and update transfers in stock control systems as required
- Obtain and document signatures for all distributed goods
- Participate in period-end inventory counts
- Track and report waste or spoilage
- All other duties as assigned
Communication
- Report special occurrences, equipment issues, and inventory discrepancies to Supervisor/Manager
- Liaise with departments to ensure accurate and timely delivery of goods
- Recommend improvements to enhance operational efficiency and food quality
- Ensure consistent and accurate information sharing across teams
- Foster teamwork by working harmoniously with co-workers, assisting with duties, while maintaining a high standard of guest experience
JOB SPECIFICATIONS
Skills
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and within a team
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to lift more than 40lbs.
Education & Experience
- Minimum Grade 12 Education
- Experience in a warehouse or food and beverage environment is an asset
- Experience with inventory systems and basic computer software is an asset
- Responsible for obtaining and maintaining Food Handlers & Smart Serve Certification
- Responsible for obtaining and maintaining A.G.C.O. gaming license, as required
Work Conditions
- Available to work all shifts, including evening and weekend as required
- Physically demanding, including standing, lifting, bending, and walking for extended periods
- Exposure to temperature variations in storage and receiving areas
